The ground

The memory of the ground is a public drawing which relates one person to another. The chewing gums thrown to the ground are the starting point to create a network made of chalk. The chewing-gum trace in the ground symbolizes the people who have already been there.

The action consists on gathering different people whose task is to circle chewing-gums with chalk and then draw a line to connect each circle with another. The situation produces a bond between the people who throw away the chewing-gum in the street and the people who make the drawing.
