The dogs-self-portrait
The head is the part of the dog's body in which we can read either a tender gesture or a menace. But the head is also the part of the dog's body we use to attach it, to domesticate it. Les chiens are scotch tape sculptures without head. By cutting their heads I emphasize the expression of the dog's body. Each dog is in a position where it's either ready to defend or to attack. The tail rises in a threatening position, showing an absolute tension.
